In Latin, Amāre means "to love". For us, this represents the love of films, which is why we chose that name for our festival.

As a small, independent film festival, our goal is to celebrate talented filmmakers from Canada and beyond! By presenting a diverse selection of unique films and stories, our festival hopes to engage our audiences in experiencing the wonderful world of cinema.
